The Last To Own an LCD TV

I maybe the last to own and LCD TV when most of my friends had set their eye on LED TV or LCD TV with a bigger screen. It's a Sharp Aquos 32 inch LCD TV and I got it from SenQ for RM 1299. There's a shop at Subang Perdana that sells this product for RM 1080 ! I chose SenQ because it has another 2 years insurance besides the 1 year all risk manufacturer insurance while the Subang Perdana shop could only go with the 1 year manufacturer insurance.

The sound is good with an intelligent sensor that adjust the brightness automatically. Below are some of the TV's specifications.
• 32" WXGA AQUOS LCD TV (32 inch is enough for me as my house is small)
• 25,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio (minimum is 10,000:1, Samsung has a brighter contrast)
• 1080/24P Signal Input (works fine with my Sony HT DVD Player)
• Advanced OPC (Optical Picture Control) (love this feature)
• SRS TRU SURROUND HD (the sound is quite decent but my Sony HT delivers more clearer sound)
• 10W x 2 Speakers (I'm using my 5 speaker + 1 subwoofer from my Sony HT)
• Built in RS-232C
• RCP: RM1,499.00 (see above)

It has 3 HDMI input and almost all other inputs available in the world today. 1 HDMI has been used for my DVD player. I'll reserve the other one for B.Yond and my IPTV.

The best thing is the USB player which I could play my internet downloaded movie, you name the format, this TV could play it. Name it mp4, avi, rmvb.. almost every format. Recently I watched Avatar HD, it was more than 4GB and the picture was awesome, looks like 3D.

I bought an adjustable wall bracket as well to install it on my wall for RM 180 including installation. To add a clearer sound, I bought the Sony Home Theater DAV TZ130 for (I couldn't remember.. RM 499?) Bought all of this item together at SenQ.

To be honest, if someone wanted a Home Theater with a powerful loud sound (that's the purpose of having a HT isn't it?) than leave the TZ130, you could read reviews on the internet. I purposely needed a decent HT with woofer and for the time being, not so loud as I have a little daughter whom is afraid of loud noises so TZ130 suits me well. The total power output is 350 watt when the minimum HT requirement is 600 watt. But the TZ130 does have an USB player which could play MP4 and DiVx, MP3 music and Jpeg. The DVD player comes with an HDMI cable and I could play most movies I downloaded on the net.

Now, I need a new TV cabinet or maybe a new L Shape Sofa
