The Tragedy

I am one of the Malaysians that were shocked by the sad news this early morning. A religious school in the KL Suburb was destroyed by fire and many were trapped and died including two of their teacher.

In this world of social media, lotsa pictures and videos are being circulated. One of the video that I was shown was a footage taken by a woman (I presumed because I heard her voice), screams of those victims and loud noise of someone trying to break the grill of the windows can be heard very clearly. It was so disturbing. I am a father of two young children and those voices I heard resemble my children. It was traumatic for me.

Al Fatihah to all the victim. I, together with all Malaysians, are very sad.
